ACE Research is an internationally respected research unit that consistently delivers ground-breaking policy research and evaluation. Its work supports that of the ADE, ensuring our policy positions and advocacy are always founded on and guided by the best available evidence and insight.

Originally part of the Association for the Conservation of Energy, ACE Research historically focused on energy efficiency, specifically in respect to frameworks for implementing energy policy in buildings, barriers to and opportunities for effective implementation and the roles of different stakeholders. Now part of the ADE, ACE Research is broadening its scope to all decentralised energy sectors, including combined heat and power, heat networks and demand response services. Find out more
