Freddie Wilkinson
Research and Policy Officer
Freddie joined the ADE in March 2022 as a Research and Policy Officer. Working across both the research and policy teams, Freddie works with ACE Research to quantitatively assess energy efficiency and the environmental performance of buildings, in addition to conducting policy analysis on energy efficiency and industrial energy.
Before joining the ADE, Freddie worked as a Researcher in two London-based think tanks and in a neuroscience laboratory. An Ecologist by training, Freddie holds an MRes in Ecosystem Change from Imperial College London, where he researched the landscape genetics of Atlantic Forest birds, and an MSci in Biological Sciences from UCL, where his thesis researched the effects of pesticides on the social dynamics of bumblebees.
An avid birdwatcher, he leads guided bird walks for the London Wildlife Trust. He also enjoys cooking with wine (and occasionally remembers to put it in the food).
