ACE Research Steph Hacker
Researcher
Steph joined the ADE in February 2020 as a researcher with ACE. She is undertaking research across an array of decentralised energy themes, including CHP, heat networks, demand response and energy efficiency.
Before joining the ACE research team, Steph worked as an analyst at an environmental consultancy delivering support to businesses and government to accelerate the transition to a low carbon economy. Through this role, she developed expertise in energy efficiency and low carbon technologies through UK and EU project delivery work, in addition to delivering assurance support to businesses certifying Carbon and Zero Waste to Landfill standards.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Plymouth, with a research focus in environmental political economy.
