Our popular networking events and conferences are hosted throughout the year. We attract speakers who are the leaders in their fields and provide unrivalled opportunities to network with industry and Government stakeholders in some truly spectacular settings.

Awards Dinner | June 2022| Members and non-members

We celebrate and recognise the innovative projects which are making a real difference for the decentralised energy sector at our annual Awards Dinner. Approximately 500 guests enjoy a formal dinner before the eagerly anticipated and heavily contested award ceremony.

In recent years, this event has been hosted at the Guildhall, Natural History Museum and Science Museum. Our flagship and most popular event.

Heat and Decentralised Energy | September 29- October 1 | Members and non-members

Hosted with the Energy Institute, our annual Heat and Decentralised Conference takes place in September. One of the UK’s most successful and highly regarded sustainable energy events, this conference draws delegates from across the decentralised energy value chain. The event attracts approximately 250 delegates from government and industry to discuss the key challenges and opportunities facing our sector.

Sector specific conferences| March, May, October, November | Members and non-members

We hold combined smart energy, heat networks, energy efficiency and industrial & commercial energy every March, May, October and November respectively. We invite members to host these events at their premises or at external venues, though these events have so far been held online in 2021 due to te ongoing pandemic. These conferences are free for members, with tickets available to non-members.

The Winter Reception | House of Commons | January | Invitation only

Our annual Winter Reception takes place in the House of Commons, Member’s Dining Room in January of each year and is by invitation only.

President’s Reception | House of Lords | September |Invitation only

Hosted at the House of Lords, our annual Presidential Reception is an intimate and prestigious event that provides wonderful networking opportunities.
